We can't wait for the Detroit Auto Show to see what is in store for the new Chrysler. As it turns out, we don't have to wait that long for some clues, especially since the 2015 Chrysler 200 was recently spotted in the dark, completely uncovered.
Typically, models are wrapped in heavy camouflage until their debut every time they go outside. However, it was a pleasant surprise to see the new model without any coverings and although it was dark, we were able to discern some exiting details.
The Chrysler 200 has certainly gone through a massive overhaul as is indicated by its new four-door-coupe styling and design language. Also features are narrow headlights and a short chrome grille.
Shots were also snapped inside which show LED accent lighting and a touchscreen display. Also spotted is a rotary gear selector, which means that the model could possibly be equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission for a fuel economy of 38 mpg on the highway.
No specific details have been released concerning the vehicle's powertrain yet. However, we are sure to learn more when the Chrysler 200 makes its official debut next month. Be sure to stay tuned to Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Medford's blog for more details by subscribing through your RSS feed.
