When Chrysler isn't too busy supplying the new Chrysler lineup with innovation and technology, the automaker likes to get involved with the community. Just last month it proudly sponsored the 11th annual American Cancer Society Cattle Baron's Ball which took place in Detroit, MI. Let's take a look at what the event entailed.

Rather than being a traditional black-tie ball, guests were required to come dressed in their best cowboy chic apparel. They also got to dine on some delicious Western-style food provided by over 20 local restaurants. It sounds like quite the party!

Leading the event was Chrysler brand President and CEO, Saad Chehab, who explains the importance of the brand's involvement saying, "We are proud to join the American Cancer Society as it recognizes its 100th year fighting against cancer. It is a privilege to be a part of this event and to honor those who continue to battle this disease, in addition to those we have lost in the Chrysler family, with the hope that one day soon an event like this won't be needed."1

To raise money for the American Cancer Society, Chrysler provided some great prizes that were available for silent auction, one of which included a limited-edition Chrysler 300C model sporting a John Varvatos design. Others items included Mopar accessories, various John Varvatos merchandise, and a trip to see a musical in NYC.

Here at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Medford, we are proud of the automaker's involvement with such a great organization.
