While much of the world is soaking in the glory of the Jeep Grand Cherokee’s recently released Trackhawk model, there’s another new hawk in the nest that can’t be left out. After several model years’ of absence, the Trailhawk trim is returning to the midsize SUV’s trim grade, and it’s not just good—it’s overwhelmingly good.
In fact, the new Trailhawk does off-road capability so well, one reviewer went as far to say offers more trail chops than anyone will ever need. That’s debatable, since we know our drivers love to push limits! In that vein, there’s plenty of good news. The Trailhawk is offered with all three of the Grand Cherokee’s engines, and also comes with selectable driving modes. If you’re worried all this off-road gear will hamper the Grand Cherokee’s performance on-road, don’t fret—it still holds up as an everyday driver.
